From 18 - 21 February 2012 in Rabka-Zdrój Youth Ambassadors visited four guests from the twin city Murrhardt. Ambassadors from Murrhardt - Julia Gelbing, Theresa Fritz, Claramarie Sternagel and Henrik Neth - made a private visit to the Ambassadors from Rabka-Zdrój (Joanna Bagadzińska, Krzysztof Bodek, Barbara Diurczak, Natalia Kościelniak, Anna Magiera and ex-ambassador - Katarzyna Diurczak).
Although it did not last long, our young people provided them with a very busy schedule of sightseeing and other activities. Immediately after arrival, the guests were welcomed by the family of Ambassadors, which provided them with accommodation and meals during their stay. After meeting with host families, all nine went to the skating rink.
In the absence of Rabka’s enterprising ambassadors sled all stocked in plastic bags, and so equipped they went to a nearby hill. They had fun! Then, tired but still full of enthusiasm, got on a sleigh pulled by horses and went for an evening trip - after Rabka sleigh ride, which ended event at the headquarters of the Polish Highlanders.
On Sunday, because of good weather, all the Ambassadors and Rabka youth group, went to Zakopane. There they entered the queue and came on Gubałówka Mountain, went by Krupówki and saw the ski jump. After returning to Rabka visited craft bazaar items, which took place as part of the "Day for Kuba." – little boy, who is suffering on cancer.
It was a great attraction for them. Each of them found there something to buy. At the end of the day, courtesy of the owners, Ambassadors organized a party in the House of the holiday integration "Światowid", which appeared as musicians from the Regional Team "Robcusie". There were games, dancing and singing.
Monday was the day in Krakow. The young people set off at 9:00 to Krakow. Market Square underground tour turned out to be an amazing experience. There were so many interesting things and information that it took a long time. Then, of course, was a walk around the market square and shopping.
On Tuesday, at 10:00 Ambassadors of Murrhardt and Rabka Zdrój, met in the Municipal Office of the Deputy Mayor - Mr. Robert Wójciak, who thanked the youth for coming, and strongly urged to take all initiatives which could deepen the partnership of our cities also from the private side. Then the ambassadors went to the last walk before leaving Rabka combined with shopping.
